Government Incentives For Western Australia Homebuyers

With the intention to support buyers, especially first home buyers, the WA State Government has introduced a range of financial incentives to help more people enter the property market.
Stamp Duty Concessions
- No duty up to $500K (was $450K)
- $500K - $700K (Metro & Peel): $13.63 per $100
- $500K - $750K (Regional WA): $11.90 per $100
Vacant Land:
- No duty up to $350K
- $350K - $450K: $15.39 per $100
Off-the-plan Duty Concession
Pre-construction contracts
- 100% off up to $750K (was $650K)
- 50% off $750K - $850K
Under-construction contracts
- 75% off up to $750K
- 37.5% off $750K - $850K
Valid until 30 June 2026
First Home-Owner Grant (FHOG)
- $10,000 grant for new homes or builds
- One grant per eligible transaction
- Must live in the home as your main residence
Home Buyers Assistance Account (HBAA)
- Up to $2,000 to cover incidental purchase costs
- For established homes under $500K
- Must apply via lender within 90 days
Keystart Modular Home Loan
- 2% deposit
- Covers land + modular build + delivery
- Up to 4 progress payments allowed
- Faster and more affortable build pathway
